Choosing a domain name is like choosing your business name; it can be complicated or easy. Most business will use the same name as their local business has ex: a beauty salon named Beauty ABC will most probably choose www.beautyabc.com or www.beautyabc.ca.

Should you register .com or .ca? The right answer is both. The .ca is great to let know your customers that your business is Canadian which a lot of customers will prefer over an oversea website. Imagine you will have the option to choose between www.beautyabc.ca or www.beautyabc.uk

The .com has a better reputation and will be really useful if you decide to go international in the future. The worst scenario: you didn’t purchase www.beautyabc.com because 15$ was out of the question for you but 2 years after your business is going really well and you want to expend and go international. Bad surprise the .com is not available anymore. In other words, protect your name and purchase .ca and .com
